Safety Management System Support — Detail

Your safety data should live where you control it. We offer three paths to a digital safety program — from a self-service mobile inspection toolkit, to fully managed CIH-led operations, to standing up your own internal program office. Pick the path that matches where your business is today; upgrade or transition when you’re ready.  Each tier matches a customer stage and progressively transfers more ownership of the safety program from OSHCAT to the client.

Tier 1 — Digital Data Capture

​

From $299/month. For small operations moving from paper or spreadsheets to digital. QR-code workflows so workers scan and load the right form at the right place, auto-generated branded reports, and compliance-deadline alerts.

What’s included:

• Mobile inspection app (iOS / Android) with offline mode for shop floors and field sites

• Pre-built form library aligned to OSHA general industry, construction, NFPA 70E, LOTO, and JHA standards — OSHCAT-curated, not generic

• QR-code stickers for inspection points (eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, equipment) so workers scan and load the right form

• Auto-generated PDF inspection reports, branded for the client

• Compliance calendar with email/SMS alerts for OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA deadlines

• 90-day onboarding guidance via email; quarterly office-hours webinar

What’s NOT included: principal time, on-site visits, custom policy development, audit-finding remediation. These are quoted separately at standard hourly/project rates.

Tier 2 — Digital Safety Operations

​

$699 / $1,099 / $1,499 per month. For mid-size operations running an active safety program. Combines the Tier 1 toolkit with ongoing CIH-led oversight: 2–8 hours of principal time per month, hosted SMS workspace with full document organization, dashboard reports surfacing leading indicators (near-miss trends, training completion, overdue inspections), and direct phone/email access to a credentialed practitioner. Comprehensive tier includes a semi-annual on-site audit.

Every Tier 2 sub-tier includes everything in Tier 1, plus:

• Hosted SMS workspace with full document organization, training-record tracking, and compliance dashboards

• Dashboard reports surfacing leading indicators (near-miss frequency, training-completion rates, overdue inspections), not just lagging metrics like recordable counts

• Direct phone and email access to a credentialed practitioner

• Annual program review and audit-readiness assessment

Tier 3 — Stand Up Your Program Office

​

When you’re ready for an internal EHS function, we project-manage the build of your own safety program office — in your environment, on your platform of choice. We do the discovery, configuration, policy buildout, data migration, and team training. You leave with a fully functional program office, a complete documentation set, and 90 days of post-launch advisory included. Optional ongoing advisory retainer available afterward, without us hosting any of your data.​

Project deliverables:

• Discovery and gap analysis against OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926, EPA, DOT, NFPA, plus client-specific frameworks (ISO 14001/45001, CMMC, customer-specific contractor requirements)

• Selection and configuration of an SMS platform in the client’s environment 

• Migration of all data from any prior OSHCAT-hosted instance to the client’s system (not a separate fee)

• Custom policy library built to client operations (LOTO, JHA, contractor management, IH program, emergency response, etc.)

• Training of the client’s designated safety lead and program staff on system operation and policy maintenance

• 90-day post-launch advisory window included — weekly office hours during the first 30 days, then bi-weekly through day 90

• Final “program office in a binder” documentation: SOPs, governance map, audit-trail process, and handover checklist

Optional post-launch retainer: After the 90-day handover, clients can engage an advisory retainer at $499 (4 hrs/mo) or $899 (8 hrs/mo) for ongoing CIH-level access without OSHCAT hosting any data. This is the highest-margin recurring revenue line in the offering because OSHCAT bears no platform infrastructure cost.
